Good book but it took me FOREVER to get though it. Also has some very odd twists with man fathering children by wife, daughter and granddaughter

Very good book, but it took a LONG time to get through. Anne Rice likes to use lots of detail - but it results in such quality character development, that it's worth it. This book had a subtle horror to it that kept me turning the pages.
