The Hotel New Hampshire

alltough i love irvings novels, here he made me sick with his "bears".

My favorite John Irving book. It sat on my bedstand for many years being constantly read and re-read.

First of his that I read. Liked it.

This is a rich, beautiful, and occasionally vulgar fairy tale of a book. This ranks very closely to Cider House Rules as one of Irving's best. (It will never beat Owen Meany, but it is still pretty darn good.)
