The Lost World

You've got tot read it to experience the thrill!

Entertaining, but reads like a movie script. I loved Jurassic Park and this falls short.

not quite good than the first one. i would prefer if allan took the lead as the main character again. the characters were boring for me.

This was a very good sequel. I have to say it didn't capture your imagination quite as easily as Jurassic Park. But, it holds up as a good sequel. It's definitely worth the time to read it if you read Jurassic Park. The pace is good and the story is fine, although he does seem to try to add more suspense than the story can support - I hope that makes sense.

The beginning was good but then it goes into a copycat of Jurassic Park with much less action and less information. Isn't anything at all like I was expecting. Don't recommend it, just stick to Jurassic Park. Not quite as entertaing as Jurassic Park, but a good sequel and it's great to know where Ian Malcolm ended up because much wasn't explained at the end of Jurassic Park, plus it's perfectly plausible that some dinosaurs would have survived after the destruction of the park. The mention of the second island, Isla Sorna, makes it even more believable that dinosaurs were manufactured on a seperate island than Isla Nublar. Overall the Lost World is an interesting read and must-read for those of you have read Jurassic Park. It's highly recommended that Jurassic Park be read first because The Lost World begins where Jurassic Park left off.   hide
