This book takes a very long time to get into some interesting events. Almost 100 pages in I was about to give up on it. Luckily I held out and things really picked up from there. This book takes a very long time to get into some interesting events. Almost 100 pages in I was about to give up on it. Luckily I held out and things really picked up from there. Another issue I have with this novel is that there is a little too much "look within yourself for inner meaning" type of narration. That sort of thing is alright in small bites, but there was far too much of it in this book. If you can get past those two things, then you will enjoy the final ~300 pages of this novel.   hide
