Very amusing. My family is big on driving down to Florida for the beach or especially going to Disney World. The only icky part? We live in Ohio.. an 18 hour drive, usually. And he captures the park so well.. waiting in line to get your tickets, only to wait in line to get in, and then.. of course.. waiting in line to get on a ride that lasts, probably about two minutes.

I've always said it, and I'll say it again.  I could have had the worst day in the history of worst days and be sinking into the depths of depression... 5 minutes with a Dave Barry book and I'll be laughing my face off.  BRILLIANT comedic writer!!  Every once in a while one of his articles will border on inappropriate, but for the most part you're okay.  Absolutely hilarious.

I NEVER use the abbreviation "lol" but here it fits perfectly.  I literally laughed out loud for a large portion of this book.

About half of the book was really, really funny. The other half was mildly amusing. Some of the language was questionable, but Barry has a very entertaining way of looking at the world of vacations and travel.

Having travelled to Europe myself, I find myself laughing hysterically at his misadventures. Like finding out that half the roads in Germany do *not* bear the same name, but rather that "Einbahnstrasse" means "one way street"!
