It was interesting with a good pace through most of the book. The last quarter draggged some and it seemed difficult for Shreeve to come to a conclusion. It was a little tedious when it came to scientific explanations for those well versed in biology, but for the layperson the examples and metaphors were very clear. It was neat to get an inside view of the business without too much jargon,...more

its incredible what these people had to go through to get the human genome project on the way. Graig Venter's story is an inspiration.
