Delicious. Quinn is one of her best characters to date. I think you will agree. The biggest flaw in the story is using Merrick i such a big way for the finale, but hardly using her at all throughout the entire rest of the novel. It feels weird, and it felt like Merrick was tossed in, then tossed away. Its a small bump in the story though. The overarching plot is actually inferior to Quinn's background tale. But his recounting of his past takes up the meat of the book anyway. Warning: there is a particularly disgusting and graphic scene toward the end, when Quinn's transformation takes place.
