Some interestng perspectives. The root story was a little hard to believe, and certainly if you are not on the side of a specific amount of gun control your views are not well-represented. That being said, Patterson has done his research on many facets of this argument, and does admit that he comes into it with an agenda. That allows me to forgive some of his shortcuts and transgressions. Bottom line: if you're looking for a tome that frames the gun debate you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for something that rubber stamps your viewpoint on stricter gun laws, you'll be the choir to which Patterson is preaching. But if you're just looking for a reasonably entertaining political thriller, it serves its purpose.   hide

Made me really think about our gun control laws --- perhaps if we enforced the one's we have on the books, we wouldn't need new ones.

Massive political and legal brick. Reads a little more like non-fiction, but if gun control legislation is your think this book is worth a look.

finally i finished the book this weekend after two weeks of reissuing girls pretty good book but u need lots of patience to read and only for ppl ineterested in politics and how things r done in washington
