Dying to Please

I liked the book,easy to read.

This book moves along at just the right pace- slow enough for the characters to develop a believable relationship but fast enough so that you're not bored. I also liked that the lead female didn't get goofy-stupid when she was in a bad situation. You can tell that Linda Howard has been at her craft for a long time.

Too predictable.....it was an easy read...but a lot of cliches in this book...

The antagonist is creepy as hell... and Howard shows off her impeccable skills when it comes to great chemistry. And although the main plot line may appear familiar on the surface (police-detective-protects-woman-in-distress), the characters are too well-written to fall into cliche.

hold ur breath

I did not totally love this book, but I liked it and will always keep it in my library. Some of the scenes appear to be an emotional retread of a couple of her older books. However, the heat between the hero/heroine is, as always, awesome. I recommend this for anyone new to Linda Howard because the rest of her books only get better and better.
