This is a good book that i had to read for one of my classes but really enjoyed. This book is about a constant seacher of identity from the three main characters that i can really relate to! Good read, but one thing i didnt enjoy was the constant change of era, going from one century to the next.

Very well written, but a bit too much of a soap opera for me.  It was a unique perspective of 2 cultures melding over 4 generations.

Garcia is a master at writing about lineage!  I love her work and the style she captures when she writes.
