Good so far. Gives soem light into the after math of order 66 and how a young jedi name jax has made new allies and his constatn strugle to help others but alos aoviding vader

I really enjoyed seeing a reappearance of Captain Typho in a different light- one of the most enjoyable subplots I've read in a star wars book.

Well, I finally finished it. And, well.... I thought the first one was better.There were just too many coincidences in this one for me to take some of it seriously. And, yes, I realize that some storylines need to intercept eventually for there to be interest and drama, but in this novel, it seemed EVERYONE was connected to EVERYONE ELSE. I mean, seriously. There's, like, ten characters, out...more

Some interesting new charcters... exciting twists... a little weak on the ending, but maybe Michael Reaves is setting up a phenominal showdown for the third book of the series between Paven and Vader.

I was very disappointed with this book. I read the first one and enjoyed it, but now I am not sure I want to continue the trilogy. There were too many coincidences. It seemed like the author didn't know how to get the characters from their investigation to their conclusion. So instead of giving facts that they can use, they just get some random minor character to drop by and essentially solve...more
