Very different from what I expected- no sugar coating, just women messing up and struggling to get it right- very funny at times, and a great little read. I'll check out more by this author.

I was really surprised by this book. I thought it was going to be another light-hearted chick-flick, yet the storyline was excellent. The cover makes it look a much lighter read than it actually is. I found the book very touching, my mother has dementia and I could so relate to the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a mother!

Some light reading when the little darlings are tucked up in bed. Enjoyable read.

surprisingly good

At the begining you suspect it's just another one of those pretentious books that are trying to score by being a bit abstract and whimsical. but that moment soon passes. it's a fantastic read and so well written. Towards the end there's a surprise that seems like a cliched plot twist but then it's handled so well you forgive the author for including it.
