This book came recommended via a friend. The very first Fannie Flagg book I ever read, and have been hooked ever since. This story is adorable

15 stars. Fannie Flagg's characters are so real, so true-to-life...and so are her small towns. Wonderful nostalgic trip down memory lane...

I cried like a baby while reading the last two pages.

I like this book, written from a young girls' perspective, it is realistic in how she views the world. I've read it several times, I laugh and I cringe. I am reading to my girls now.

This is my FAVORITE Fannie Flagg book! I've read it 3 times (so far).
