As always, Berg develops unique characters. Some stories made me laugh outloud but most made me think. Humans are funny-odd people!

I've read books by this author before and not really been enthralled by them. They were always interesting enough to finish, but never touched me in a way that I felt connected to the characters. Fun, funny, true...a fast, light read - even better to listen (she reads it herself) - really enjoyed this one.

My least favorite Berg book. But I don't like short story collections in books so that could be why.

2 of 4 stars. Cute book--I wanted to read full length novels on some of her characters in these stories! I copied the "Apple Pie Recipe Letter" chapter.

The title essay is empowering for all women who struggle with body image issues.

Each chapter is a different short story. Didn't like the majority of them. Not funny or moving or motivating.

Elizabeth Berg is one of my favorite authors. This is a collection of short stories, which I usually don't choose to read, written from female perspectives. I loved it. This would also be a great book club choice.
