Starts out OK, but following book sucks. Clarke must have needed some money in final days and lent his name and loose ideas for a story. Disappointing.

After reading this series, I've decided to read the Space Odyssey series. I've already bought them, but I'm waiting a bit, so I can keep them separate in my head from this Time Odyssey series.

Awesome conclusion to the Time Odyssey trilogy. Bisesa Dutt is back after a 19year snooze to help save the world again... Although, is this really the conclusion of the series? The last paragraphs really make you wonder!

Just glad I am done with the trilogy. No offense to Arthur C. Clarke (rest in peace!). Good so far but I have only read about half a page.

I SO wanted to love this book. In fact, I did, right up to the ending! Still, it was a fun read and I was totally drawn into the conclusion. I just wasn't happy with the way it ended. If Sir Arthur C. Clarke had not passed away, we might have seen a sequel. But, alas, I don't think we will and I'm stuck using my imagination to see how the whole thing really ends. That may have been the point of...more

Really compelling, but it's quite a shame that Clarke died before he could conclude what was obviously supposed to be a continuing series.

A bit confusing in places, but it does tie up the events in the previous two books well. Doesn't end as conclusively as it should, but with Clarke's death, we'll probably never know how it would've went.

A great conclusion to Clarke and Baxter's "A Time Odyssey'. Building on the events of 'Time's Eye' and 'Sunstorm', this book continues the story of Humanity's encounters with the alien race known as the Firstborn, who first appeared in '2001: A Space Odyssey'. Baxter and Clarke are both masters in their field of writing.

I wish they would finish this story but I dont think they will with the death of one of the authors.

A good "conclusion" to this series. I put the word in quotes because, even though it's billed as the conclusion of the Time Odyssey, it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger. If there's more to the story, Baxter will have to do it without Clarke since, sadly, Clarke now belongs to the ages.
