Interesting historical fiction; feminist perspective. Somewhat slow, but worth sticking with it to the ending.

This was pretty good, which sort of surprised me. I'm not a huge fan of the fictionalized biography, but this was interesting, and prompted me to do some research about both Wright and Ellen Key, who I had never heard of previously.

Interesting historical fiction. Almost impossible to imagine, much less understand, the choices she made. Unexpectedly horrifying ending. Looking forward to discussing @ book club.

I have to admit this was not a book that I enjoyed the process of reading.. but by the end I must say it was worth finishing. As with all good stories it prompted me to do more research on Frank Wright. He was an arrogant, immature boob... but he did have an interesting life.

Nice historical fiction of a relationship between Frank Lloyd Wright and Mamah Borthwick Cheney. I loved it as much for the insight into the famous architect as the dynamics of a complex relationship that was far more progressive than the times (early 1900s).
