I enjoyed both "The Invisible Wall" and "The Dream" immensely! (I read them in the wrong order, but it really didn't matter much.) Well written and easy to read.

engaging autobiography, well written. effectively transports reader to immigrant life in Chicago in the early 1920s. its "prequel" (set in a British mill town), The Invisible Wall, is equally good.

98-year-old author improves with age! Loved this book, will definitely read the next book in the series, "Golden Willow."
