In my opinion this was a poorly written account of what should have been a fascinating subject.

You see a young girl lost in a court where she is trying to move up and also be a favorite to the king. It changed my opinion of Jane Rochford and I believe history did her no judge. Especially since there is so many different version of what she was like and how her life was like.

Not really from Jane's point of view. Mostly a guess on what she was thinking extra...because there just isn't enough n documents on her from that time period. It has some interesting facts, but not really a great book.

Very interesting take on the Lady Rochford, particularly since every other account I've read about her portrays her as an evil, vindictive, jealous woman. The book is very clinicial-it has beautiful descriptions of court life, clothing, and ceremony. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Touching on most of the key players from that time, it winds them together with explanations as to what part each had in this era. Jane's life is finally examined and explained in a forum based on facts rather than mere rumors as had previously been done. A very good read for those unsure of "who was who". I highly recommend this book.

Was okay. More about Tudor court up to Jane's death, than about Jane herself. Not a whole lot of documented historical information on Jane Boleyn, so it was largely speculative.

Interesting read. I love history and it was nice to read about someone who had a large impact on British royal history, and at the same time, was left out of most history courses.

Absolutely loved it. Vivid descriptions of everyday life in the 16th century as well as the extravagant lifestyles of the royals. And how the country's entire future hangs in the balance just because the king fancies a particular women and wanted to get rid of another. Fascinating.
