Twists, turns, even somersaults in this one. This may well be the best of the series thus far. Hester is accused of murder and ends up standing in the dock of a Scottish courtroom. Oliver and Monk are frustrated beyond bearing because they are stymied and in unfamiliar territory. Hectic conclusion.
