This book is not totally up my alley, but that's probably why I enjoyed it so much. A beautifully told story of two friends who climb Mt. Rainer and fall into a crevasse. One survives and one does not. I learned more about mountain climbing that I probably needed to know - but hey, that might come in handy some day. More than anything else, this book moves you to tears with its profound wisdom told through literary simplicity. One of the best books I have read in a while!
