The best written account of the holocaust. You are taken there and you suffer along with the narrator. I have read it twice..

Previously I had read Holocaust stories from people like Corrie Ten Boom.  Wiesel's POV is utterly hopeless.  His following books--Dawn and Day--give further expression of hopelessness and the mindset of a terrorist.
