Previously I had read Holocaust stories from people like Corrie Ten Boom. Wiesel's POV is utterly hopeless. His following books--Dawn and Day--give further expression of hopelessness and the mindset of a terrorist.

Read this in one sitting - disturbing, wonderful, important book! We must never forget

Very good read. Depressing though but a good look into what really went on during the Holocaust. Hard to believe people especially children went through that. :-(
