It was really different, in the way that it was difficult to understand. At times it was touching but I thought it was a difficult and sometimes boring read.

Easily one of the best books I've ever read. Top-of-your-head-coming-off-good, to misappropriate Dickinson.

Amazing.....just amazing. The imagination and the effort put in this book are just unbelieavable, and I'm not only talking about the visual side, but also on how deep -and depressive- it goes in the exploration of this characters. Impressive and painful. Absorbing, estimulating and rewarding. A must.

Chris Ware is officially the most mind blowing genius working in comics today. I LOVE this book and every thing else he's ever done for that matter. dont take my word for it, please read ANYTHING by him, the man has pretty much re-invented the wheel.

Almostly unbearably sad at times, but bleakly funny too. Ware's draftsmanship is astonishing. His ability to convey so much emotion through deceptively simple faces is remarkable. As for the page design, it's so innovative, yet so clean and readable. Stunning.
