Very awesome, the author makes it hard to decide who is the vilian and who is the victim, you feel bad for Mary yet you also think she was just a spoiled princess, and Elizabeth with her trials and tribulations you see her as the victim at first but later, you see she could be a nasty woman who deflects the blame someone else if she made a bad choice, a very good book. However the end seemed to have been a little rushed, would have liked to read more about Elizabeth's last days, like i read about Mary's.   hide

Wonderful book, it gives you a very complete perspective of what was happening in their lives and how difficult it was to be a powerful woman back then ( not that different from today, by the way).

Two incredibly powerful women, with very different styles and strengths. Wonderfully written.
