more Ever since I started reading fiction Anne Rice has always been at the top of my favourite author list. Yes, it is in Tolkien and his works where my geekynes finds its release, but Anne has always been my favourite. She is an artist and her medium is words, and she uses them so beautifully, they become a living image in my mind. The first few chapters of this book threw me of guard, I wasn't expecting the image of Christ as a child, especially not one who accidentally kills another child only to bring that child back to life. But once I got passed that I rediscovered my love for her works. The beauty in the words she uses. And I believe that any one doing their doctorate in biblical studies will benefit greatly in reading, if not the whole story then at least, the writer's note at the back. The research she put into this book, and her reconnecting with a God she turned away from. It is a story f grace and bravery and love in and of itself. I recommend this book with all my heart!
