A grand conclusion to Morris' trilogy, and Roosevelts life. It is a less optimistic and exhilarating read than the other 2 volumes, simply due to the events covered: political decline, disappointment and the inability of a master politician to influence world events from the sidelines. Loved the two previous books in this biography series written by Edmund Mooris. Exceptional writer with expectional understanding and insight into history.
