I went through this book on audio during my daily commute. I felt like I was going through the war in real time. Very intense. Allowed me to put current events into a historical perspective (the hyperbole of modern times does not even touch the reality of the past). Now I am totally ready prepared for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
