I wish she'd have included more of the originals or cited where each recipe comes from (she doesn't) but in the realm of historical cookbooks this one is the prettiest by far with slick photographs that will make you drool. Little snippets of elizabethan history are also interestingly dispersed throughout. Worth buying and experimenting with but not for the super authentic cook. --fkv
