Mycket intressant - en väldigt speciell metatext om narrativ, i maskering av en fiktionell (?) historia om en icke-existerande (?) dokumentär om ett mycket olycksbådande hus... svår att placera i någon genre alls, men dansar elegant mellan definitioner och undviker pretentionernas fällor. Rekommenderas varmt, om inte annat för vad den gör med ditt huvud.

An amazing novel. Purely fantastic.

An amazingly written modern epic, House of Leaves is the intricately carved story of madness, fear, love, and death. A must-read.

A book unlike any other of which I have ever read. Unique in every sense. Sometimes I can't decide if I liked it or not, but it's something different, and it keeps your mind racing in circles long after you've finished the last page.

I've been working on reading this book for several years now. I keep getting caught up and having to put it down.
