I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes short stories, russian literature or just was a great book of stories written by Gogol to pass the time away. hide
well i loved evenings on a farm near dinkanka - one of my fav (except for "shponka" tale and "terrible vegneance")
mirgorod tales - i liked “viy” alot, the tale of “ivan i vs ivan n” was nice too
st petersburg tales – i liked “nose” and “overcoat”, “diary of a madman” was also nice
Gogol's short stories rock. I don't know what's on this edition, but some that come to mind are The Overcoat, The Nose, The Diary of a Madman. His stories range from the very funny to the surreal (Gogol was a man before his time).
