Probably too eclectic for most people, but I find a book like this that is about books and the shelves the live in intriguingly delicious.

Wonderful and enlightening history of the design of books and bookshelves? Who thought that bookshelves could be so interesting. A very well written historical narrative informs the reader on the origins of book design.
