One of my favorite books that help me understand the power of emotion as it sets down pathways in our brain. it helped me become a better parent and leader as I came to discover how to heal the past through building new pathways in the brain. And how in turn that helps me to become the change that I wish to see in this world. I have reread this book 3 times! need I say more? This is a crash...more

it was interesting to look at it from a different dimension...from the dimension of neurons that grew to feed of off each other and resonate in a connection that is love. a practical and scientific dissertation why all we need is love. and without it our societies are crumbling apart.

Though the writing can be a bit thick, the ideas are fascinating and compelling.

I'm just starting this book, and I already like it. It's about new research in the neurobiology of love and how our intimate relationships can profoundly heal us and help us grow. I'm reading this right now, and it's very good so far. Highly recommend.

It's okay. Some of this book would have been mind blowing if I hadn't already read the research in other forms. It's a good palatable way for people to get an introduction to this stuff, if not a little schmaltzy.

A facinating unfolding that kind of boils down to the unanswered question of are we becoming numb to touch deprivation.
