The accounts from Eiji's family members were pretty heart wrenching. Although the main purpose of the author was to focus on the survivors, I personally found the interviews with Aum members to be the most interesting.
I would recommend doing some research into the Tokyo gas attack before reading this book because I felt a little lost.
