Not only well written, this book is a great read because the life of this energetic and amazing man is an adventure in and of itself! Every page of this book shows Roosevelt in some new adventure – whether it be fighting criminals in the wild west or pushing legislation as Governor of New York. Some may argue there was some hero worship involved in the telling of this story. Hard to say – but it is hard to avoid the simple fact that Roosevelt went from a sickly child into a man that accomplished many, many remarkable and courageous feats in so many different areas of life. Hero-worship or not, Roosevelt is a remarkable man worth reading about.
