The Glass Palace

I'm usually not a fan of books with a modern history setting but this just kept me going. The characters will pull you in.

I was a bit let down by this book. Some of the characters are extremely well developed, some are like afterthoughts, yet they all share the same page time. slow moving book.

This is marvelous story with a lots of ups and downs in an interesting life of an immigrant. It simply states...if going gets tough..tough gets goin.
