Northanger Abbey

Although one of the earliest works of Jane Austen, still unmistakenly identifiable for her witty and lively style.at times too innocent at times to predictable, but nonetheless an enjoyable reading!

However, the book about Allen's family accompanying Catherine to Bath for season of balls and social delights to meet wealthy young man, or the General Tilney's refusal of his son's proposal to poor Catherine can resembles' Austin's series.   hide

Mr. Tilney is now one of my Favorite characters!!!! Quite a few laughs in this Jane Austen book. Not nearly as dramatic as other novels but I loved it all the same :)
