Although one of the earliest works of Jane Austen, still unmistakenly identifiable for her witty and lively style.at times too innocent at times to predictable, but nonetheless an enjoyable reading!

You may find Northanger Abbey very interesting if you are into satirical storylines. Catherine Morland is a 17 years old heroine who also loves Gothic novels, that is the reasons why she brought along lots of funny and fantastical horror at Northanger Abbey. It is Austin's first novel - not the kind of romantic "Pride and Prejudice" but full of lively effusions and humours....more

Mr. Tilney is now one of my Favorite characters!!!! Quite a few laughs in this Jane Austen book. Not nearly as dramatic as other novels but I loved it all the same :)
