Wow. This book is as deep as fuck. The cautious and elegant manner in which JSM mounts his arguments is mind-blowing. You really get the impression that this guy is the Oracle. The killer is that he's telling you the exact opposite of the feeling you have when you read him. He's like, don't take my word for it, I could only be telling half truths at best because I am human and fallible. And you're just like, hold on, you're changing my life and you're telling me that it could all be crap? The guy is a total freak and is my new hero.
Be warned, this is in Victorian English, and requires an energetic reading of the text, occasional poring etc. to tease out meaning. Not lite reading, nor for the "great many fools" out there. (If you believe this guy)
