I can say though that I thoroughly enjoyed it and the author did a good job of keeping the pages turning. I read this to learn more about a man that has captivated so many people around the world, yet came and went before my time. This book covers his entire life, in all aspects, from before his birth, to his last breath. I think that I would have enjoyed it even more if the author would have written more about JFK during his presidency, and gone into more depth about the historical context of his presidency, rather than everything about his nymphomaniacal philandering. I have not read anything else about JFK so I cannot say how this book compares to other biographies about him. I would recommend it though, and feel as if I have a much better understanding of the man, his times, the reasons why he was the way he was, the challenges he faced, and the hope that he represented. FYI, this book does not touch on anything postmortem...no conspiracy theories, etc. In fact, the author, maybe just to stay within the scope of the book, firmly describes JFK's assassination as a one-man-show.”
