This is one of those books that would be perfect for a young novel reader who needs something quick and entertaining, for that is what this book is. Gleitzman tells the hilarious story of ugly little cane toads trying to figure out why humans hate them so, only to find themselves mixed up with the Sydney Olympics. It's nothing fantastic, but it is funny.
