my absolute favorite series ever!

definitely not as good as the books about her mother but she has her own story and is her own person. pierce did excellent!

I'm almost done with the book and i have the second one... but it is really good... and nawat sounds really hot.... i just can't believe that her hair was blue and the pirates that took her cut all her hair off... I couldn't belive the lengths she would go so she wouldn't get sold....

excellent, both of them; a slight deviation from her normal writing style, and I absolutely LOVED it!

I really really liked this book. The main character, Aly, is the more laid-back heroine of all Pierce's other "driven" characters in her other novels, though i liked her no less then the others.
