Love Tamora Pierce's dialogue, it really brings out the characters. The Trickster books are definitely my favorite out of her work - probably because of the somewhat different plot they have (compared to basically every other story she's written).My copy of this is missing most of its cover, and the pages are worn down. The years have seen it much use. I'd definitely recommend...more

I really really liked this book. The main character, Aly, is the more laid-back heroine of all Pierce's other "driven" characters in her other novels, though i liked her no less then the others. The book is laced with wit and humor in a large tapestry of action, adventure, and prophecy. Intelligent and charming characters and a delicate and intriguing plot, how can you not...more
