She has finally made it and is the first Lady KNight in 100 years. She gets her own command, looking after refugees and is set a quest by The Chamber of the Ordeal to destroy the mage which is creating monsters out of stolen children. She is forbade from going to save them but she puts her life on the line to go and save the children.

Oh, Kel! I love love love love Kel. And all the other characters are SOGOOD, too... Neal and Owen and Raoul, and I just love them ALL. Such a good series.
