Busing Brewster

The topic of forced busing to end segregated schools doesn't seem uplifting, but the author does a nice job walking the line of showing the hope and bravery of some as well as the ignorance and fear of others. Too much of our history is forgotten or washed away and this children's book is a small step forward in reclaiming past as a nation - warts and all.
