more Lovely! I so enjoy these kids!! The story is cute, but not saccharine. There are morals and consequences, but they don't beat you over the head with it and there is lots of love--familial love--which, I believe, everyone years for.
This story finds the Penderwick clan back home (from holiday) and in school and enjoying life. Until their beloved Aunt Claire comes to visit and tries to convince Mr. "Pen" (as he is affectionately called around the neighborhood) that he needs to think about dating again (since the children's mother died soon after "Batty" was born).
Both hilarity AND despair ensue, making this one of the better reads for me this year!!
Highly enjoyable!!
