I get to see Lee Scorseby one last time. There is a cool game to play that is at the end of the book. I think the game looks cool.

Good, but too short! Still it's helped to maintain my patience while waiting for the Book of Dust.

A bit too thin to be all that engaging, but wonderfully atmospheric, and promises great things for The Book of Dust.

Loved the Pullman Dark Materials trilogy so had to get this afterwards. It's only short but very enjoyable.

Good to borrow from the library, but save your money. The story is pleasurable, and provided me with 2 satisfying hours, but it lacks the emotional depth of the HDM trilogy. Which isn't necessarily just from it's short length. The first meeting between Iorek and Scoresby felt anti-climactic, although the scene at the warehouse is tense and skillful. For HDM fans only.

I love the style of the book, even if it was rather small. It was quite interesting to see Lee in is younger days.

A short story giving a history behind the meeting of Lee Scorsby and Iorek Byrinson from the Golden Compass.

Set 35 years before the events in His Dark Materials - a nice adventure to read in a sitting, with a board game to boot!

MUCH better and more satisfying than "Lyra's Oxford". Bring on THE BOOK OF DUST!
