more When Ted's aunt Gloria and cousin Salim come to stay before moving to New York, the whole family think that it's going to be fun. When Salim opts for a visit to the London Eye a whole mystery unfolds when he disappears whilst 'flying the eye'. This book is one of the best children's books I've read in ages. Being an English teacher I like to keep up with the trends in literature, and this book is written so well I was gripped from start to finish. Drawing on the 'locked room' mysteries made famous by Conan Doyle in Sherlock Holmes stories, this book would be a great introduction for children who want to widen their reading habits. The characters are full of life and you find yourself rooting for the children as they unravel the mystery. It's also fun trying to solve the mystery and kicking yourself when you didn't see it coming. A fantastic book.
