I love Daphne Du Maurier's descriptive,detailed,involved style..not for the instant gratificant.

It was well-written of course: (I have also read the follow-up which tries to explain it). I thought, "what a strange lot of characters," - could have been real-life. A true classic...one of my all time favorite books.
