Not up to snuff with his other books. Somehow I get the feeling he ran out of steam by the time he reached this book, and he was writing it because he had to, just to complete the series. It doesn't have that same epic, desperate, raw feel of the earlier book in this cycle, and it doesn't match the majestic scope of his earlier books. Ok but not one of his best. Erik is a good character though.

Another great read in the series. Mr. Feist knows how to weave a story.
