You must read this. Never mind that you couldn't care less about computers or malaria--me neither. You start reading the 1st paragraph, poof, you're gone. The groceries, work, cooking, everything will wait. I promise.
one of the most unusual books i have read...!!!
very not-amitav-ghosh style book....
at times boring and slow .....with a scientific plot you often drift away ...however the ending...!!! and the implication of it and the way it sums up the whole book gives you a vertigo !!!
definitely a good read...but not for the faint hearted ones...;-P
Very interesting, but at times quite boring. The narrative is one of the finest. There were some instances that gave me a chill in the spine. Thoroughly enjoyed the language. Bottom line: a wonderful read.
Set in the mode of crime thrillers, the book is racy and binds science fiction with the supernatural in an adept way. The book travels in time forward (when virtual reality is a reality)and backward(Pre-Independence India) with remarkable agility. A definite must read for a lazy Sunday, you are assured to get through it quick.
