The Shining

This hardly ever happens with me, but I think I enjoyed the movie even more than the book (due to Jack Nicholson's incredible talent at bringing his character to life). I loved the book, which gets much deeper into the characters' heads than a movie ever could.

Fighting against ghost of capitalists who live in a hotel. They want to absorb not useless wrecked dad, but his son.

Frightening. Very Stephen King.

A fan favorite for many people but it just didn't do it for me. It was okay, but not great.

Scary! Much better than the movie.

Best Stephen King novel. Period. End of story. Go visit Room 217 by yourself if you don't believe me.
