Rain of Gold

This is the best book ever written, I have never laughed so hard and also cried so much while reading a book. If you are a Mexican - you should have read this book!

Loved, loved, loved it....

When I was in college at EPCC, I was browsing through the library and happened upon this colorful book. I checked it out based on curiosity and was really surprised at how wonderfully written it was. The cultural and personal history mixed together make this an exceptional read. This is one of my favorite all time books!

It's about a 5th grade reading level but the story is still good.

I love this book. It took me longer to read than it should have because I kept rereading sentences and paragraphs that I loved. It's a sweeping look at a family of refugees from Mexico, and the story of their settling in to the US.

I love this book!!!!!!

Another one of my favorites...one of the first books that made me cry. I remember finishing it on the plane as I flew back from Peru after visiting my dad's family. The ending made me bawl my eyes out!
